Learning Without Walls,
An Experience Without Limits

The Global Classroom is an immersive, holistic, and family-led learning journey designed for globally minded homeschoolers and worldschoolers who want to deepen and expand the education their children are already receiving at home. It offers a structured learning community where families can explore the world together while learners develop curiosity, independence, and confidence through shared experiences and guided inquiry.

Grounded in principles drawn from the International Baccalaureate (IB), the Global Classroom provides an inquiry-led, transdisciplinary framework that helps learners connect ideas across subjects while engaging with the places and communities they encounter. Rather than replacing homeschooling, the programme is designed to strengthen it, helping families transform travel, observation, and real-world encounters into meaningful learning.

Each ten-week term, families travel together to a new location — such as Thailand, Indonesia, or Vietnam — where learners explore big ideas through place-based inquiry, community encounters, and ecological systems. Experiences are supported by carefully designed resources, including companion booklets and guided project frameworks, allowing learners to capture their thinking, ask deeper questions, and develop ideas over time.

Learning is guided by an experienced educator with a background in international and alternative education, whose role is to facilitate discussion, scaffold inquiry, and help learners connect their experiences to broader academic concepts. While facilitation provides structure and intellectual guidance, families remain actively involved in the learning process and retain full responsibility for their child’s overall education.

The Global Classroom is not a school, not a boarding programme, and not a drop-off service. Learners remain under the care and educational responsibility of their families at all times. What the programme offers is a shared learning environment where families can elevate their homeschooling experience through community, thoughtful facilitation, and the use of the world itself as a powerful educational tool.

“The children genuinely feel seen, welcomed and acknowledged.”

A World-Class Learning Experience in Inspiring Locations

We don’t just learn about the world—we experience it firsthand. The Global Classroom rotates through three carefully chosen locations per year, providing an immersive, learner-driven project that connects learning to real-world challenges and cultural contexts.

From the Andes to Patagonia, South America offers depth, contrast, and continuity. Learners explore environment, history, and identity through sustained inquiry and reflection, bringing together learning across the year within a supportive, collaborative framework.

“Having people like you in their lives definitely brightens their lights.”

A varied learning landscape shaped by ecology, culture, and community. Across Thailand, Vietnam, and Sri Lanka, learners engage in place-based inquiry, guided projects, and shared experiences that support independent learning through structure and connection.

Term-Based Country Rotations
with a Continuous Inquiry

Learners and their families move to a new country each term, but their learning remains aligned, connected, and learner-driven.

IB-Aligned Core Subjects

Although not following the IB, our curriculum aligns with the IB Framework, covering Global Politics, Environmental Systems, Mathematics, Language & Literature, and the Arts with a flexible, interdisciplinary approach.

Facilitator-Guided, Learner-Led

Learners take ownership of their learning, asking big questions, designing projects, and pursuing inquiries, while the facilitator guides, supports, and ensures academic alignment.

Inquiry & Project-Based Learning

Learners explore real-world challenges, collaborating on hands-on projects that connect learning to life.

Portfolio-Based Assessment
No traditional grades

Learners build personalized learning portfolios, demonstrating mastery through projects, presentations, and research.

Pathways to IB Diploma & University

Whether learners plan to take the IB Diploma, apply to university through alternative admissions, or pursue their own path, our curriculum ensures they are fully prepared.

Balance of Freedom & Structure

Learning follows a clear academic framework, but learners shape their own learning paths through research, creativity, and independent inquiry.
