Harmony Alternative partners with international schools and educational organisations to create immersive, place-based learning opportunities for young people who would benefit from experiences beyond the traditional classroom.

 

Through our established learning programmes, The Global Classroom Project and Roots, students join small international learning communities, working alongside qualified educators and local experts while exploring real-world questions through culture, environment, community, and place.

 

Our partnerships can take different forms. Individual learners may join us for a term as a Student Learning Residency, remaining connected to their home school while experiencing a different learning environment. Schools may also refer small groups of students for Global Learning Expeditions or offer our programmes as an enrichment opportunity for curious and motivated learners seeking greater independence, challenge, and global experience.

 

We believe schools do not need to provide every educational experience themselves. Through thoughtful partnerships, we can expand the opportunities available to young people, complement existing educational pathways, and create learning experiences that would be difficult to replicate within the walls of a classroom.
